Heat Jam Pistons

     The Miami Heat pulled off a 118-105 victory over the Detroit Pistons at Little Caesars Arena on Tuesday night. The Heat clinched a winning record in 2022-23 and remain in the seventh Eastern Conference playoff spot. The Pistons clinched the worst record in the National Basketball Association this season. 
     Miami(42-37) had a slight 31-27 lead after one quarter and led 59-52 by halftime.  Detroit(16-63) cut the deficit and were down 80-79 at the end of three quarters. The Heat went on a 22-6 run in the final five minutes of the contest. 
     Jimmy Butler put together 27 points, eight assists and eight rebounds for Miami. Gabe Vincent was able to pour in 22 points. Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro both contributed 18 points each. Jaden Ivey led the Pistons with game-high 30 points.
