The Miami Marlins have acquired relief pitcher David Robertson from the New York Mets. The Marlins sent infielder Marco Vargas and catcher Ronald Hernanadez to the Mets in the deal.
Robertson has a 4-2 record, 2.05 earned run average and 14 saves in 17 save opportunities with the Mets this year. He was traded to the Philadelphia Phillies during the 2022 season and helped them win the National League pennant.
