Phillies Streak By Marlins

The Philadelphia Phillies came back in the ninth inning to defeat the Miami Marlins 4-3 on Friday night at loanDepot park. The Phillies have won 13 consecutive road games and are approaching a franchise record. The Marlins lost a rare one-run contest this season.
Miami(51-39) picked up two runs in the second inning. Garrett Cooper sliced a solo home run to right field on a 0-2 pitch during the fourth inning for a 3-0 lead. It was the 12th homer for Cooper in the 2023 campaign.
Philadelphia(48-39) cut it to 3-1 in the sixth inning. Former Marlins player J.T. Realmuto belted a solo homer barely over the left-field fence on a 1-1 count for his 10th home run this year.
The Phillies compiled three runs in the top of the ninth for a 4-3 advantage. Alec Bohm drove in Realmuto on a double into the left-field corner. Two batters later, Cristian Pache lifted a two-run homer to center field on a 0-1 pitch for just his second home run with his new club and gave them a 4-3 lead.
