Orioles Go By Marlins

The Miami Marlins began the second half of the 2023 regular season with a 5-2 loss to the Baltimore Orioles from Oriole Park at Camden Yards on Friday night. Both teams were off for the last four days due to the All-Star Game break.
Balrtimore(55-35) bounced out to a 1-0 advantage in the second inning. Adam Frazier singled through the left side to score Cedric Mullins.
Miami(53-40) tied it up 1-1 in the top of the third. Bryan De La Cruz knocked in Joey Wendle on a base hit into left field.
The Orioles reclaimed the lead 3-1 in the bottom of the third. Mullins smacked a solo homer to right field on the first pitch of the frame for his ninth home run of the 2023 campaign. Two batters later, Frazier pounded a solo home run to right-center field on a 1-0 pitch.
The Marlins cut the deficit to 3-2 in the top of the eighth. Jorge Soler walloped a solo shot over the high wall in left field on a 1-1 count for his 24th home run of the season.
The O's made it 5-2 in the bottom of the eighth. Frazier smashed a two-run homer to right field on a 3-2 pitch with Austin Hays aboard. It was a career-high 12th home run for Frazier this year.
