The Miami Marlins fell to the Los Angeles Angels 7-4 at Angel Stadium on Friday night. The Fish began a six-game road trip through Southern California. The Angels swept the Marlins in a three-game series last year for the first time ever.
Anaheim(25-25) was able to get six runs by the sixth inning for a 6-0 advantage. California native Eric Wagaman hit a solo home run to left-center field on a 2-1 pitch in the top of the seventh and cut it for Miami(19-30) to 6-1. It was the first home run for Wagaman since late April.
