Inter Miami CF fell to FC Cincinnati 3-1 on Saturday at TQL Stadium. The first MLS regular season game ever at that venue was played last year with Inter Miami CF as the visiting squad.
FC Cincinnati ripped out to a 2-0 lead during the first half. Ronald Matarrita booted in a right-footed shot from 15 yards out in the 17th minute and Brandon Vazquez followed in the 23rd minute with a header from six yards. Inter Miami CF closed it to 2-1 at the 30th minute when Gonzalo Higuain scored.
There was only one goal in the second half. Vazquez nailed his second tally of the contest during the 82nd minute on a header from seven yards away on the right side to make it 3-1.
