Miami Ratings February 2022

     Miami/Fort Lauderdale sports format radio stations received their monthly ratings. The time span went from the first week of February to the first week of March. 

     AM 560 Sports WQAM-AM almost lost half of their audience in one month as they fell from a 1.1 to a 0.6. The Florida Panthers had a limited number of games due to the Winter Olympics break and played only a couple of postponed games. The University of Miami Hurricanes basketball team battled it out in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Larry Blustein was fighting for his life due to COVID-19 and Alex Donno filled in for him on his weekly high school sports program. 

     WQAM streaming dropped down from a 0.5 to a 0.2. They first had their streaming ratings published in December at a 0.1 followed by a 0.2 during the holiday period. 

     Sports Talk 790 The Ticket WAXY-AM remained at a 0.3 in the period. The Miami Heat made a charge to have the best record in the Eastern Conference. 

     Fox Sports 940 WINZ-AM stayed at a 0.1 in the month. The station had no Miami Marlins spring training games during the time span due to the Major League Baseball lockout. The University of Florida Gators basketball team continued a mediocre season.
