Miami Heat Sign Haywood Highsmith

     The Miami Heat have signed forward Haywood Highsmith to a three-year contract. There was no mention by the club about the amount of the deal. 

     Haywood had previously inked 10-day contracts with Miami on December 30, February 15 and February 26. He has appeared in 10 contests with the Heat this season and averaged 2.4 points along with 1.4 rebounds per game.
