Major League Baseball Spring Training Begins

     The lockout between the Major League Baseball owners and the Major League Baseball Players Assocation has ended. The 99-day stoppage came to a halt when both sides agreed to a new collective bargaining agreement through the 2026 season. 

     All 30 spring training camps involving teams will begin on Friday. Spring training games will begin on March 18. The 2022 regular season will open up on April 7.
