Teddy Bridgewater Joins Miami Dolphins

     Former local high school quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is coming home to Dade County and play for the Miami Dolphins. He has agreed to a one-year deal for $6.5 million. 

     He spent last season with the Denver Broncos. He had 285 pass completions for 3,052 yards and 14 touchdowns in 14 games. Bridgewater was with the Minnesota Vikings from 2014 until 2017, New Orleans Saints from 2018 to 2019 and Carolina Panthers in 2020. 

     Bridgewater played high school football with the Miami Northwestern Bulls. He appeared in the 2008 FHSAA Class 6A state championship title game and lost to Seminole.
