The All-Star Game was held in Philadelphia at Veterans Stadium 50 years ago in 1976 because of the United States bicentennial. The Midsummer Classic happened at Philadelphia in 1996.
The xxxxxxxxx League defeated the xxxxxxxx League x-x. It was the 96th time that the MLB All-Star Game was played.
