Florida Panthers 2026-27 Schedule

The National Hockey League released the 2026-27 regular season schedule on Thursday. It will be the first time that a season will start in the month of September. The big change for the upcoming campaign will be all 32 NHL clubs playing 84 regular season games instead of 82 contests.
It means that all teams will now play every team in their division four times per season. The Florida Panthers will face each team in the Atlantic Division twice at home and twice on the road.
Florida will face the Metropolitan Division teams three times this season. The Cats will host every Western Conference squads once and visit them once.
The Panthers open up their 2026-27 regular season with the first overall game of the NHL season at the Carolina Hurricanes in Raleigh on September 29. The Hurricanes will raise their Stanley Cup championship banner prior to that contest. It will be the third straight season on opening day that the Panthers will be present for a Stanley Cup title banner ceremony.
The Cats will continue their road trip with three games in California. The Panthers will be on the road for six of their first seven games this season.
Florida hosts their hoke opener versus the Minnesota Wild on October 10. They then will  play the first NHL Monday afternoon contest of the season at the Atlantic Division champions the Buffalo Sabres on October 12.
The Panthers and new center Brady Tkachuk will face the Ottawa Senators on October 21 in Ottawa. New Toronto Maple Leafs goalie
Sergei Bobrovsky takes on his former team in Toronto on December 3. He returns with the Maple Leafs to Sunrise on March 6.
