Former Florida Panthers backup goalie Daniil Tarasov has inked a deal with the Detroit Red Wings. It is a one-year contract that is worth $2 million.
Tarasov spent last season with the Panthers behind Sergei Bobrovsky as a backup on the goalie depth chart. He had a 13-15-3 record with a 3.05 goals-against-average and a .895 save percentage in 33 contests in 2025-26.
