Marlins Handled By Astros

     The Houston Astros held off the Miami Marlins 5-3 on Tuesday night at Daikin Field. The Marlins, who expanded their losing streak to eight games, will complete their six-game road trip tomorrow. 

     Houston(49-54) scored one run each in the first and the second innings for a 2-0 lead. Miami(52-50) broke the shutout in the top of the fifth to make it 2-1. The Astros extended their lead to 5-1 during the bottom of the fifth for a 5-1 advantage.
