Astros Sweep Marlins

     The Houston Astros took the Miami Marlins 5-2 at Daikin Field on Wednesday and completed a three-game sweep. The Marlins concluded a six-game road swing and finished with a 0-6 record. The Fish now have a nine-game losing streak. 

     Houston(50-54) collected one run each in the second inning and third inning for a 2-0 lead. Miami(52-51) tied it up 2-2 with two runs during the top of the fourth. 

     The Astros pulled away with three runs in the bottom of the eighth and led 5-2. They picked up back-to back home runs from Yordan Alvarez, his MLB-leading 34th homer this season, and Isaac Paredes.
