The Miami Marlins rolled by the New York Mets 5-2 at Citi Field on Friday night. The Marlins, who have won four of their past five contests, continued the seven-game road swing.
Miami(56-55) compiled four runs in the top of the fifth for a four-run margin 4-0. New York(47-64) answered back with one run and cut it to 4-1 during the bottom of the fifth. The Marlins added another run in the sixth inning and retained a four-run gap.
