Miami Hurricanes Pick Up McCord

For the second time Saturday at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, the University of Miami received word that another top-tier player has decided to attend their school. Tampa-Jefferson defensive end Tyriq McCord stated at halftime that he would join the Hurricanes. He led Jefferson to the Class 3A state title over future Miami commitment running back Duke Johnson and the Norland Vikings in 2010.
