WAXY Cancels The Sports Brothers

WAXY announced that they would not renew the contract of Jeff Fox and Ed Freeman. They hosted The Sports Brothers talk show that aired weekdays from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. since January 2010. Both also hosted a weekend show at WAXY before being promoted. They previously hosted a sports show on WTPS in Miami until the station flipped their format. They were the only personnel that executive producer Marc Hochman hired to host a weekday sports show at WAXY during his reign as the station program director. Eric Reed filled in as host last week and this week.
