Wade Returns As Heat Fall To Warriors

Dwyane Wade returned to the lineup for the first time in four games as the Golden State Warriors beat the Miami Heat in Oakland 111-106 on Tuesday night. It was Wade's first game since playing a home game against the Atlanta Hawks on January 2. The Heat scored the first six points of the game and led 8-2 just two minutes into the game. The Warriors bounced back with a 14-4 run and led after one quarter 27-22. Miami finished off the second quarter on an 11-6 spurt and led 57-53 at halftime. Wade garnered 20 points while LeBron James had 15 in the first half. The Heat picked up a double-digit lead as they began the third quarter on a 21-8 run to lead 78-61. It was their biggest margin in the game. Golden State chopped at the deficit throughout the fourth quarter on a 21-9 run and tied the contest 93-93 with 1:44 remaining. Following three foul shots made by Miami, former Heat player Dorell Wright hit a three-point shot from the left side to tie it with 31 seconds left in regulation. Monta Ellis drained a field goal with 34 seconds remaining in overtime to give the Warriors a three-pont cushion and the eventual victory. Miami lost their first road game this season and dropped to 8-2. Dwyane Wade finished with 34 points and six rebounds while LeBron James added 26 points, 11 rebounds and seven rebounds. The Heat play tomorrow night in Los Angeles against the Clippers.
