Philbin Named New Dolphins Coach

The Miami Dolphins announced on Saturday that they have named Joe Philbin as their new head coach of the team. He replaces Tony Sporano who was let go by the team late in the season. Philbin had been the offensive coordinator of the Green Bay Packers for the past five years, which includes winning Super Bowl 45 over the Pittsburgh Steelers. He becomes the 10th head coach in Miami Dolphins history.
