Gorkys Hernandez connected with his first major league home run of his career in the fifth inning for the only Marlins lead in the game. Murphy led off the inning with a single into left field.
Milwaukee regained the lead in the seventh inning with a two-out rally. Nyjer Morgan reached base on an infield single off Ryan Webb. He then scored on a double by Aoki off Mike Dunn to deep center field to tie the game at 4-4. After Weeks got an infield single, Aoki crossed the plate on an infield hit by Braun off Carlos Zambrano.
