The Chicago Bulls scored the first nine points in overtime as they got by the Miami Heat 95-88 on Sunday at United Center. The Heat have matched their season-high with a three-game losing streak. They open up a four-game homestand on Monday against Washington.
LeBron James led the way for Miami(43-16) with 17 points, eight assists and nine rebounds in 45 minutes. It was the first time since 2009 that he did not attempt a free throw in a game. Dwyane Wade added a team-high 25 points while Chris Bosh dropped in 15 points.
Two players for Chicago(34-28) were able to put together double-doubles in the contest. Joakim Noah compiled 20 points and 12 rebounds while Jimmy Butler knocked in 16 points with 11 rebounds in 47 minutes of play. D.J. Augustine had a team-high 22 points for the Bulls.
