Lincoln Financial Media in Miami has named Len Weiner as the new program director at 104.3 The Ticket WAXY-FM and 790 The Ticket WAXY-AM. He will join the organization next week and replaces Tod Castleberry who was let go last November. Weiner leaves his position at Genesis Communications in Tampa Bay as program director at WHBO-AM, WWBA-AM and WMGG-AM which he has held since 2011.
Weiner has been a program director for many sports stations in the nation. His first stop was at KMPC-AM in Los Angeles then worked at ESPN Radio in Connecticut. He moved to Chicago where he was at WMVP-AM followed by a stint at news/talk station WGN-AM. Weiner went to Boston and worked at WAMG-AM before heading down to Tampa Bay.
