LeBron James compiled a triple-double as the Miami Heat rebounded with a 110-78 rout of the Detroit Pistons at Palace of Auburn Hills on Friday night. The Heat snapped a three-game losing streak on the road.
Miami(49-22) was up 28-23 after one quarter. They went on a 19-5 run at the end of the second quarter to lead the Pistons at halftime 57-42. The Heat outscored Detroit(26-46) in the third quarter 35-18 and had a commanding margin of 92-60 at the end of the period.
James put together 17 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds in just 30 minutes for the Heat. Udonis Haslem tied with a team-high 17 points along with five rebounds. Chris Bosh barely missed a double-double with 15 points and nine rebounds while Chris Andersen had 12 points coming off the bench.
Greg Monroe and Will Bynum both had a team-high 12 points for the Pistons. Andre Drummond almost put up a double-double with nine points and 14 rebounds while Kyle Singler drained in 11 points.
