The Florida Panthers have traded center Marcel Goc to the Pittsburgh Penguins for a fifth-round pick in 2014 and a third-round pick in 2015 on Wednesday. Goc has played with the Cats for the last three seasons and helped the team make the playoffs in 2011-12 after a 12-year wait.
He played 62 games for the Panthers this season and had 11 goals and 12 assists. He had previously been with the San Jose Sharks for five seasons and the Nashville Predators for two seasons prior to joining Florida.
