The Heat had a 12-point lead at 34-22 after one quarter and were up 59-53 at halftime. The Celtics moved ahead 80-78 after three quarters. The game was tied 94-94 with under three minutes left in the final quarter until Jeff Green made a three-point shot from the right side with 2:31 to go. It would part of a 7-2 finishing run by Boston as Rondo would later score on two running jumpers down the stretch.
