The Miami Heat lost to Charlotte Hornets 89-85 in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals on Monday night at Time Warner Cable Arena. The Heat and Hornets are now tied 2-2 in the best-of-seven series with Game 5 on Wednesday night in Miami.
The Heat got out to a 26-19 lead after one quarter, however Charlotte turned the tide during the second quarter and were up 48-39 at halftime. The Hornets had their biggest margin of the contest at 18 points 57-39 early in the third quarter. Miami outscored Charlotte in the second half and trailed 69-61 after three periods.
