Hornets Sting Heat

     The Miami Heat lost their first playoff game this year as they fell to the Charlotte Hornets 96-80 on Saturday night in Game 3 at Time Warner Cable Arena. It was the first postseason win for the franchise which rebooted as the Charlotte Bobcats over ten years ago. Luol Deng led the Heat with 19 points while Dwyane Wade added 17.
     Miami trailed 29-28 after one quarter and 49-44 by halftime. Charlotte played their best period in the series during the third and were up 75-58 after three quarters. They coasted to the victory in the final quarter.
