The Miami Heat defeated the Charlotte Hornets 115-103 in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinal at American Airlines Arena on Wednesday night. The Heat, led by Dwyane Wade and his team-high 28 points, now lead the best-of-seven series 2-0.
Both clubs played even early and were tied 29-29 after one quarter. Miami had their best quarter of the contest in the second putting in 43 points and led 72-60 at halftime. The Heat remained ahead after three quarters 91-78 while Charlotte outscored the Heat by one point in the fourth quarter.
