Former Miami Heat center Shaquille O'Neal appeared at WrestleMania 32 at AT&T Stadium on Sunday in Dallas, Texas. He made a surprise appearance as a competitor of the 3rd annual Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
He stood face-to-face with The Big Show and they both choke-slammed Kane. O'Neal eliminated the first person in the battle royal when he dropped Fandango. O'Neal was thrown over the top rope by a gang of wrestlers as the third competitor eliminated.
O'Neal had a connection with professional wrestling for over 20 years. He was part of the entourage of Hulk Hogan in July 1994 when he captured the WCW World Heavyweight Championhip from Ric Flair in Orlando. O'Neal has appeared in World Wrestling Entertainment on several episodes of Monday Night Raw for over a decade.
