Heat Stop Cavaliers

     The Miami Heat hosted the defending Eastern Conference champion Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday night at American Airlines Arena and beat them 98-79. The Heat have won four of their last six games overall and seven consecutive home games.
     It was the first time that Dwyane Wade faced LeBron James and his former team since being traded from them in February. The Heat have won their last 13 meetings against the Cavs in Miami.
     Miami(40-35) got ahead 29-18 after the first quarter. They had a 16-8 spurt to begin the second and led by halftime 54-34. Cleveland(44-30) were unable to gain traction late in the third and trailed 75-59 heading into the final quarter.
     Kelly Olynyk got a game-high 19 points while James Johnson and Josh Richardson both had 15 points each. Wade was able to drop in 12 points for the Heat. James put together 18 points, seven assists and five rebounds for the Cavaliers. Rodney Hood poured in 15 points while Jordan Clarkson and Jose Calderon each got 11.
