The Oklahoma City Thunder stopped the Miami Heat 105-99 on Friday night at Chesapeake Energy Center. The Heat had their three-game winning streak snapped.
Oklahoma City(44-30) had a 24-18 advantage after the first quarter and led 44-40 at halftime. Miami(39-34) eventually took the lead 66-64 after three quarters. The Thunder outscored the Heat 41-33 in the final quarter.
Russell Westbrook fell short of a triple-double with game highs of 27 points, 13 rebounds and nine assists for Oklahoma City. Steven Adams contributed a double-double of 24 points along with 12 rebounds while Paul George added 14 points. James Johnson had a team-high 23 points for Miami and Goran Dragic dropped in 20 points.
