Visiting Media At Panthers Games

More visiting media from outside of South Florida will be covering the Stanley Cup Playoffs first-round clash between the Tampa Bay Lightning and Florida Panthers. Media from out of the local region has rarely come to Sunrise in the 2020-21 season due to the coronavirus pandemic and budget constraints.
No television talent from the other seven teams in the Central Division attended contests during the regular season campaign. Only once this year had any outside team radio announcers shown up at BB&T Center. The Columbus Blue Jackets had their radio crew with Bob McElligott call games in-person on April 19 and April 20.
Visiting beat writers also have not been in South Florida for Panthers games. The only occasion was the final two games of the regular season when Tampa Bay Times Lightning beat writer Eduardo Encina was in the press box on May 8 and May 10.
