Knicks Wallop Heat

The New York Knicks pounded the Miami Heat 116-95 at Madison Square Garden on Monday night. The Heat extended their losing streak to eight games and completed their quick two-game road swing. The Knicks are third in the Eastern Conference standings.

Miami(29-39) rolled out to a 29-18 lead at the end of the first quarter. The Heat remained in front 49-47 at halftime.
New York(43-24) took command of the contest early in the second half and outscored Miami 41-15 during the third quarter for a 88-64 lead. The Knicks easily kept a double-digit lead in the final quarter.
Tyler Herro scored a 20 points for the Heat. Duncan Robinson dropped in a club-high 22 points while Bam Adebayo added 12 points along with seven rebounds.
Mikal Bridges helped the Knicks with a game-high 28 points and Karl-Anthony Towns drained in 23 points. Josh Hart had a triple-double with 12 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists.
