The Miami Heat edged the Utah Jazz 126-123 at Vivint Arena on Saturday night. The Heat, who played their final game of the 2022 calendar year, continued their Western Conference five-game road swing.
Miami(19-18) had a slight 31-30 at the end of the first quarter. The Heat remained in front 69-63 at halftime. Utah(19-20) roared back and moved ahead 98-96 at the end of three quarters. The Heat went on a 22-13 run to begin the fourth quarter. Tyler Herro hit a running three-point shot with no time remaining in the contest.
Bam Adebayo powered in 32 points with eight rebounds for Miami. Tyler Herro added 29 points and nine rebounds while Victor Oladipo had 23 points. Lauri Markkanen got a double-double with 29 points and 14 rebounds for the Jazz.
