Local Talent On National Talk Show List

     Barrett News Media released their top 20 major media market local talk show shows in the United States. There were a couple of broadcasters with a local South Florida angle. 

     News Radio 610 WIOD-AM morning talk host Jimmy Cefalo finished in 20th place. Cefalo is leaving his position that he had occupied at WIOD since 2008 and will be replaced by Manny Munoz in January. Cefalo continues as the radio play-by-play announcer of the Miam Dolphins. 

     Former sports talk host Sid Rosenberg also appeared on the national list. He ended up in 3rd place as morning co-host with the late Bernard McGuirk on WABC-AM in New York City. Rosenberg did host sports shows on Sports Talk 790 The Ticket WAXY-AM, Sports Radio 560 WQAM-AM and 640 Sports WMEN-AM from 2005 until 2015.
