Miami has just three local weekday sports shows now. There were six programs in that media market back in September 2021 which included Jonathan Zaslow, Jeff DeForrest and The Greek at that time.
AM 560 Sports WQAM-AM carries Joe Rose with Zach Krantz in morning drive, Brendan Tobin and Leroy Hoard in the midday shift followed by Marc Hochman and Channing Crowder with Alejandro Solana in afternoon drive. There are no local shows on Fox Sports Radio 940 WINZ-AM and Sports Talk 790 The Ticket WAXY-AM flipped their sports format back in October.
The West Palm Beach media market has seen an increase in the number of local weekday sports radio shows in the past seven months. There were three local weekday programs at the start of 2022 and now there are five local shows.
ESPN West Palm 106.3 WUUB-FM has Ken LaVicka in middays with guest co-hosts Theo Dorsey, Ginette Javier and Pierre Garcon. Josh Cohen and The Hometeam with Din Thomas and Kristina Costanza a.k.a. Tina are on afternoons while Cyrus Wittig hosts the evening show. Fox Sports 640 South Florida WMEN-AM still have Andy Slater in mid-afternoons and Sports Radio 1230 The Gambler WBZT-AM has The Greek in mid-afternoons.
