Inter Miami CF Ties Atlanta United FC

     Inter Miami CF tied Atlanta United FC 2-2 at Nu Stadium on Saturday night. The Herons completed a three-game homestand against Major League Soccer opponents over the past three Saturdays. 
     In the first half, Inter Miami CF(12-4-7) moved out to a 1-0 lead in the 32nd minute. Lionel Messi took a left-corner kick and Carlos Casemiro put in a header into the right side of net from seven yards. 
     Atlanta United FC(6-13-4) responded back in the 35th minute to tie it up 1-1. Miguel Almiron volleyed a right-footed shot from three yards out. 
     The Herons reclaimed the lead 2-1 during stoppage time at the end of the first half. Luis Suarez got the go-ahead goal before halftime when he dribbled through the defense outside of the penalty area and scored from 11 yards away with his right foot. 
     It became 2-2 late in the second half during the 87th minute. Breel Embolo, who made his Major League Soccer debut, was able to place in a penalty kick with his right foot into the low right corner of the cage for Atlanta United FC to even it up.
