Marlins Fire Pedro Guerrero

     The Miami Marlins have let go batting coach Pedro Guerrero. He spent two seasons on their coaching staff working under manager Clayton McCullough. 

     Guerrero played for the Los Angeles Dodgers from 1978 until the middle of 1988. He contributed to the Dodgers winning the World Series in 1981 and was named a co-Most Valuable Player in the Fall Classic. 

     He was traded by the Dodgers to the St. Louis Cardinals for John Tudor. Guerrero stayed in St. Louis until the 1992 season.
