The Miami Dolphins clinched an AFC wild card playoff spot on Sunday. They defeated the Buffalo Bills 34-31 in overtime while the Denver Broncos lost to the Kansas City Chiefs 33-10.
It is the first time that the Dolphins have made the postseason since they captured the AFC East Division title in 2008. Miami has not won a playoff game since December 30, 2000 when they stopped the Indianapolis Colts.
