Former South Florida sports host Dan Sileo began his new position as the midday host on KEGY-FM in San Diego. He recently was the morning host at crosstown XETRA-AM from February 2014 until December 2017. He also was a pregame studio host for the San Diego Padres Radio Network for just the 2015 season.
Sileo had a previous run at two local radio stations. He became the afternoon host on Sports Radio 560 WQAM-AM in April 2012 and was moved to the midday shift in September 2012. He also was the postgame football analyst on the Miami Hurricanes Radio Network during the 2012 season. Sileo was let go by WQAM in March 2013.
He ended up at 640 Sports WMEN-AM in early August 2013 as a midday host. He had a short reign there and was gone by November 2013.
