Kevin Rogers appeared on Sports Talk 790 The Ticket WAXY-AM for the first time in almost ten years. He filled in for Joe Zagacki, who is covering the ACC Basketball Tournament, to work as the radio play-by-play announcer for a University of Miami baseball game on Wednesday night. Curtis Stevenson had to fill in for Zagacki for a Hurricanes baseball contest two weeks ago.
Rogers continues to work with Miami Sports Radio 560 WQAM-AM as the weekend studio host for the Florida Panthers Radio Network and backup studio host for Miami Hurricanes basketball games on that station.
He was employed at The Ticket during the mid-2000s in several roles which included late night host, evening host, late morning host and Florida Panthers Radio Network studio host. He reign ended at the station in December 2008.
Rogers joined WQAM in August 2009 as their evening host. He added duties as the studio host of the Florida Panthers Radio Network in September 2010 and held both positions until August 2014. He was a weekend news anchor at News Radio 610 WIOD-AM and fill-in sports host on Miami Sports 940 WINZ-AM from October 2014 to January 2015. He returned to WQAM in November 2015.
