St. Thomas Aquinas Handles TRU Prep Academy

The defending FHSAA Class 7A state champion St. Thomas Aquinas Raiders beat TRU Prep Academy 25-13 at Brian Piccolo Stadium in Fort Lauderdale on Friday night. The game started extremely late and was held up for 2 hours and 40 minutes due to a weather delay.
St. Thomas Aquinas(1-0) extended their winning streak to 16 games and they have not lost a contest since the 2018 state championship game. TRU Prep Academy(3-1), who have many players who transferred from University School, lost their first game as a high school football program.
