Dolphins Knock Down Giants

The Miami Dolphins handled the New York Giants 31-16 at Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday. It was just the second time that the Giants have played a game in Miami over the last 20 years. Both teams had a Dolphins home game versus New York played in London back in the late 2000s.
Miami(4-1) had a 7-0 lead with 7:09 left in the first quarter. Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa tossed a two-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Jaylen Waddle on the left side.
The Dolphins made it 14-0 at the 10:02 mark of the second quarter. Running back De'Von Achane raced down 76 yards down the left sideline for the score.
New York(1-4) cut it to 14-3 on a 49-yard field goal by Graham Gano with 3:46 to go in the quarter. The Giants made it 14-10 with 1:40 left in the second. Defensive back Jason Pinnock intercepted a pass and returned it 102 yards for a touchdown to tie a Giants franchise record. It was the first touchdown in the first half for New York Giants so far in the 2023 regular season. The Dolphins got a 40-yard field goal from Jason Sanders at the end of the first half for a 17-10 advantage.
