Andre Johnson & Devin Hester In Pro Football Hall Of Fame

     Two former University of Miami Hurricanes players have been elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. They are wide receiver Andre Johnson and return specialist Devin Hester. Both players will be inducted on August 3 in Canton, Ohio. 
     Johnson was first known in South Florida playing for the Miami Senior Stingarees while in high school. He moved on to the University of Miami and contributed to the Hurricanes winning their fifth and last national title in 2001. He played his first 12 NFL seasons with the Houston Texans. Johnson had 1,062 catches for 14,185 and 70 touchdowns during his NFL career. 
     Hester played high school football with the Suncoast Chargers. He was with the Canes from 2003 to 2005. Hester was most known for playing with the Chicago Bears from 2006 until 2013. He has the NFL record with 20 return touchdowns along with 14 punt return touchdowns. His six return touchdowns in 2007 is tied for the single-season record.
