Sam Madison Gone From Dolphins

Former Miami Dolphins defensive back Sam Madison will not return to the Dolphins coaching staff for the 2024 NFL season. Renaldo Hill also will not be retained as a coach with the team.
Madison played 138 games for the Miami Dolphins from 1997 to 2005 and compiled 31 interceptions. He landed with the New York Giants, played there for three seasons and won Super Bowl XLII.
He was the cornerbacks coach with the Kansas City Chiefs from 2019 to 2021. That team did win Super Bowl LIV. Madison joined the Dolphins coaching staff in 2022 as a cornerbacks coach and pass game specialist.
Hill had a 10-year career in the National Football League. He spent three seasons with the Miami Dolphins as a defensive back from 2006 to 2008.
