Dolphins Releasing Ogbah & Howard

The Miami Dolphins are releasing two defensive players from their roster. They are defensive lineman Emmanuel Ogbah and cornerback Xavien Howard. The Fins needed to make cuts due to being over the upcoming 2024 salary cap ceiling.
Ogbah has been with the Dolphins since the 2020 season. He participated in 57 contests during his four-season reign with the club.
Howard had the longest tenure with Miami, among current players on the roster, going back to the 2016 campaign. He played in 100 games with the Dolphins and had 29 interceptions. Howard was tied for the league lead with seven interceptions in 2018 and led the NFL with 10 interceptions during 2020.
