The Florida Panthers extended their road winning streak to 10 games as they beat the Buffalo Sabres 4-0 at KeyBank Center on Thursday night. The Cats will complete their three-game road trip on Saturday at the Tampa Bay Lightning. Anthony Stolarz got his first shutout in a Panthers uniform.
The Cats are tied with the Bruins for first place in the Atlantic Division and the Eastern Conference. The Panthers are ahead of them based on the ROW tiebreaker.

The Panthers added to their lead 2-0 with 2:44 to go in the second period. Gustav Forsling zipped a pass from the left wing. Matthew Tkachuk snapped a shot from the left point and it went off the body of Anton Lundell at the top of the crease for his seventh tally of the year.
Buffalo(23-26-4) pulled their goalie for an extra skater with 2:11 remaining in the third period. Verhaeghe scored his second goal of the game of the contest and 28th goal this season into an empty net with 1:33 left for a 3-0 lead. Sam Reinhart picked up an assist against his former team on the play.
It became 4-0 for the Panthers on a power-play goal with 10.2 seconds to go. Lundell won a faceoff in the left circle. Forsling blasted a slap shot from the left point and Ryan Lomberg put in the rebound from the crease area for his fourth tally of the season.
