Clippers Cruise By Heat

     The Los Angeles Clippers passed by the Miami Heat 103-95 at Kaseya Center on Sunday night. The Heat, who had their two-game winning streak stopped, began a four-game homestand. Miami has lost five of the last six home games.
     The Clippers have won 25 of their last 30 games. They remain one of the top three teams in the Western Conference standings. 
     Miami(26-24) scored the first four points of the contest and had a 13-3 spurt to begin the game. The Heat had a 22-19 advantage after one quarter. Los Angeles(33-15) finally got the lead early in the second quarter and were tied with Miami 43-43 at halftime. 
     The Clippers had a slight lead 69-67 at the end of the third quarter. Los Angeles made a 22-11 run at the start of the final quarter. 
     Bam Adebayo easily had a double-double for the Heat with 14 points along with 13 rebounds. Jimmy Butler added a team-high 21 points in the defeat. Terry Rozier delivered 17 points and seven rebounds. Josh Richardson was able to pump in 14 points and Caleb Martin came off the bench with 11 points. 
     Kawhi Leonard carried the Clippers with his third double-double of the season as he compiled 25 points and 11 rebounds. James Harden contributed 21 points, 11 assists and eight rebounds for his 15th double-double of the 2023-24 campaign. Paul George dropped in 15 points while Norman Powell placed in 16 points. Russell Westbook was held to just five points.
