It has been an unusual last two years for Ridley. He was suspended for one year because of gambling on the National Football League and missed the 2022 season. Ridley was with the Jacksonville Jaguars last year and compiled 76 catches for 1,016 receiving yards and eight touchdowns.
Ridley played high school football with the Monarch Knights. He moved on to the University of Alabama for three years and captured two national championships in 2015 and 2017.
He was selected 26th overall in the 2018 NFL Draft by the Atlanta Falcons. He spent his first four seasons with that club before being suspended by the NFL and then traded to the Jaguars in November 2022.
